I think you might have calculated it for dried beans instead of canned.

Three bean is a big part of the delicious nature of this chili and what drew me to it. The versatility described to make it your own is also key. I am a novice with a slow cooker and have figured out if you can follow clear directions, you too can make food magic. I do two slow cookers at a time because I usually binge on what I made and have very little for the week. It also allows for me to make one spicy hot to my liking and another for the scaredee cats. This chili was a huge success in both directions. I also added the meat early to both. Thank You for posting this recipe it is definitely a keeper!
